International Floatation Summit - London 2010

In September of this year the first 2 day International Floatation Summit was held in London, England for Float tank centre owners, researchers and Floatation tank manufacturers – as a first conference it was limited to 25 delegates from 10 different countries. It was an overwhelming success and it is fully expected that it will be a yearly event held in different countries.

One very interesting and encouraging piece of information we discovered is that there are 150 floatation centres in Sweden which is particularly remarkable from a population of just 9 million. It is believed that the reason this country in has so many floatation centres is that the government has produced a good body of positive research on floatation tank use.

We also learnt from the delegates that attended the summit that floatation appears to be gaining popularity around the globe which is certainly verified by the number of enquiries that we receive each week for our i-sopod tank.

Attendees in no particular order: Andrea Bosch, Benjamin Tochtermann, Bernard Meloche, Dick Westerneng, Frank Rodriguez, Fred van Pol, Glenn and Lee Perry, Graziano Giannini, Harald Kløve, Karl Walker, Konstantin Starojitski, Luca Bedeschi, Mark Frickel, Peter Bell, Roderick Borrie, Roland Hummer, Stefan Gerleman, Tamara Russell, Tim  Strudwick, Veiko Lasting and Chris Koster
